My process of writing to me has always been easy. Throughout the year I found myself having a hard time with writing in every category. When I started taking this class I realized that I didn’t know much about writing at all.
My process of revision on my papers usually consists of three things, out loud re-read, looking for grammatic mistakes, then I think to myself is my paper exactly how I want it with quotes and evidence. My first process of reading aloud my essay is so that I know when my reader is reading it, it sounds how an essay should. I know that while typing my essays parts might not make sense because I’m in a rhythm. I know that when I read aloud my essay I can tell what parts make sense and what parts don’t.
For my second tactic, I look over all my spelling and “silly mistakes”. I tent to try and type while I’m. Thinking and in a rhythm rather than sit and dwell on what to write. With this I tend to have a lot of mistakes where I meant to put a comma, but I rushed and clicked a period, little thinks like that that are just sloppy errors.
With specific evidence from the text, I always have a hard time unless it is direct and up front. I have a hard time with deep diving into the text and trying to connect something with my topic and making it fit rather then something that’s right there and clear to my topic.
